They can't figure out this storm. As huge as it is no matter where it hits all of S.W. Florida is screwed. Depending how fast the storm is moving will depend on the damage to West Power is going to be a luxury, Florida. During Irma, I was without power for about three weeks. During Charley, I was without power for two and a half months.

(12,051 posts)understand the urge to stay, but the chances of getting in some serious trouble is probable. In my childhood we evacuated several times and were glad we did.
