Unless you mean the projected landfall on the Florida coast is further south than what they were predicting before.

(2,357 posts)made landing. Everybody had to watch it for about 5 days because nobody seemed to know what was going on. The weather guy Miles-something gave that forecast. He's been a longtime meterologist/pilot.

(3,370 posts)He's still heading North. At the 11am NHC update, they adjusted their cone for a landfall South of Tampa....more near Venice.

(2,203 posts)The storm is headed northward but has turned slightly to the east, making landfall a little more to the south of Floridas western coast.
No need to start rumors by posting incorrect information.

(23,102 posts)It was predicted to come through here, but no more. Jacksonville's protection seems to be intact.
I've been telling all my friends in other states not to worry - glad this happened, as it usually does.
