The Ultimate Obama Election Night Party Menu: White House Recipes For Celebrating
A special collection to commemorate the end of Campaign 2012...
President Obama will spend Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 6, in his hometown of Chicago with the First Family before attending what will ostensibly be a victory party in the evening. The event will be held indoors at McCormick Place, with a crowd of about 10,000. Whether it's victory or defeat for President Obama, Election Night parties will take place all over the nation. Herewith, a collection of White House recipes to enjoy while watching the President finish his last campaign EVER. Above, the President and Mrs. Obama in Iowa, where their journey began in 2008, and where they will end the campaign before heading to Chicago.
The Election Night menu includes foods President Obama has eaten most frequently on the campaign trail, as well as his favorites from 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue

(81,527 posts)We served Arizona Iced Tea, Delaware Punch, Chicago deep-dish pizza, Chesapeake clams, fresh pineapple, and the piece de resistance - "chocolate moose"! I got it from a local bakery and stuck a couple of brown pipe cleaners into one end, shaped like antlers. In honor of sarah palin! Everybody got a big laugh out of that one! And also in her honor, I wore an "idiot's delight" chain bracelet!
We had a great time! And then at 8pm, Keith Olbermann announced NBC's projection for Obama, and high-fives went all around the room!!!

Great white house recipes on this site and many many articles about Michelle and the White House garden!
