What to expect from Jan. 6 committee as they hold final hearing on Wednesday
The congressional committee investigating the Jan. 6 attack will hold what is expected to be its ninth and final public hearing on Sept. 28 on Capitol Hill.
After a two-month hiatus, the committee is expected to fire off a sweeping attack on former President Donald Trump, whom it blames for inciting a mob of his extremist supporters to attack the citadel of American democracy.

The panel has already built a comprehensive case that the attack was the culmination of a weeks-long effort by Trump to illegally cling to power after losing the 2020 election to President Biden.
