(1,167 posts)After redistricting, AZ-02 now includes Prescott, which is arguably the most conservative part of the state and there are quite a few contenders for that title in Arizona.
I'm not fond of O'Halleran (too conservative for my taste), but he's light-years better than his opponent, Eli Crane, who was the Trump-backed candidate in the GOP primary. For the record, Crane is an election denier, is anti-choice, and is interested in "defeating cancel culture" and "will fight to ban Critical Race Theory in Arizonas schools" (from his site). Crane sounds like a real piece of work.
With Prescott now in his district, O'Halleran can use any help he can get.
