7. History has been largely whitewashed in America...

When white supremacists start to hear what the accomplishments of black people actually are, it seems overwhelming, I guess.

Likewise with what women have contributed over the centuries. The toxic masculinity crowd can't handle it when it starts to come to light.

9. I have two acquaintances-- Trumpers-- who went to other colleges

That they once loved and donated to and went back for homecoming.

They both (independently-- they don't know each other) have decided recently that they will never donate to their "too liberal" alma maters (neither of which is liberal in any real sense), and instead will both donate to Hillsdale.

Obviously this college is specifically soliciting donations from the more educated Trumpers.

10. They are awash in dirty corporate money.

Set up a boiler room operation in downtown. Just announced they want to buy about a third of the downtown. Will soon have employees or grads in 3 of 5 positions on city council. Already own the Mayor. Had a Nazi on school board forced a by all accounts great head librarian out. Didn't want kids to learn about 2020 election among other icky things.
