(9,385 posts)He called for her to resign. Interestingly enough, they used to be close friends and once dated. But he says now that with her recent history she needs to go.

(5,300 posts)So, when I'm on the West Coast I download it to my phone before bed. When on the east coast I download it before leaving the hotel (I don't have unlimited data).
We have Sirius XM. When we start driving, as soon as Stephanie Miller is over we listen to Keith (and Frangela) from my phone over Bluetooth.

(9,090 posts)from fakenewsradio these are 4 of 87 universities supporting more than 260 exLimbaugh stations NORTH CAROLINA 16 North Carolina 8, North Carolina State 3, Duke 3, East Carolina 2
those schools are endorsing FREE constant attacks on beasley and support for republicans.
actually if any one of these NC unis reread their mission statements and announced it was looking for apolitical alternatives to broadcast sports on the other schools would be shamed into following and that would be a disaster for radio advertising - advertisers would start leaving and the radio ad industry would have to force some stations to change programming. a disaster for NC GOP.
any public discussion of it would scare the crap out of the GOP

She wants "attention" she's getting it.

(8,084 posts)She decides to take the national stage and praise Mitch mcconnell the man who brought us the Anti-abortion Supreme Court.
No woman who knows her worth would ever sit there and say out loud that she's friends with that rejected turtle fk
Cha
(297,504 posts)she's getting the attention of respected people calling her out for her actions.
I seem t recall at one point earlier when she wouldn't help pass something helpful to our country there's was some noise about her running for president. I don't know if it was from her or not.

just don't seem natural to me to want to be friends with a man like that

(8,084 posts)Whatever her motives are come the fact that she has motives that involve kissing Mitch mcconnell's a**, tells me she can't be trusted.
I mean isn't that what the Republican party does with Donald Trump. Remember miss mcconnell and Lindsey Graham hated him before they loved him look for that got us

She took a R Senate seat. I think that counts as a "positive" even if she's not perfect.

(613 posts)I'm sure calling her a "shithole" will win her over.
If Dems really want to win they are going to have to show they are better as people. That means, stop with the name calling and hate.
Does Sinema need to be cut out of the picture, yes, definitely.
However, promoting hate against individuals is not the way to go.
Leave the hate to the Repugs.

(14,175 posts)What were the reasons NOT to "go low"? It had worked for decades to distinguish the politician who was unfit for office, from the one that could bite their lip and rise above. The news shows, could be relied on to always criticize the bad language and act shocked. To the point where it could affect the outcome of a race. That was before the rise of 24/7 Right Wing propaganda networks.
Post Trump, we now know that Republican voters are not concerned with being polite, or nice, or conciliatory, or fair. The politician who stated he is such a big star that he can walk up and kiss and grab any woman by the p***y has his largest demographic of support from Evangelical Christians. The sham of their adherence to some kind of moral or ethical standards is over.
So..today...who are we trying to impress with our prudence?
Our side has been the victim of so much abuse. Crude insulting language mixed with outrageous exaggerations and outright lies. And we always "go high". For who? Obviously the other side's traditional voters don't care. And those on our side are only finally expressing our feelings honestly instead of biting our damn lip again and again.
I'd even go so far as to say that the Right only laughs harder at us for what they interpret as not being "allowed" to express ourselves or we will be chastised by the Woke crowd.
I'll end by saying that its not that I want it to be this way. I wish it were more like a big debate club in Washington where after one side wins, they all go out for drinks after and say "better luck next time". A gentlemans, or gentlewomans club. I wish Michelle's plan could work, going high defeats going low. But in todays world, it really doesn't work anymore. The new Trump Party has dragged everyone down to a level where its almost laughably dishonest to pretend otherwise.
