Desantis presser 9.00am 09.29.2022
Every time a department head comes to the mic to give a report they start with "thank you for your leadership, governor" or similar.
And what's with his wife being there? I thought they HATED it when Hillary was asked to participate in Bill's administration.
Welcome to Pyongyang, bitches.

(182,883 posts)I read this well into his term as Governor. There is his wife and one other advisor who make up his team. He has no staff, from what I understand, left from his days as a Congressman. They either left or he ran them off by generally being a complete asshole.
Thanks for this

(14,063 posts)Hes definitely smarter than Trump but he has the charisma of a turnip. Plus, hes short and that will work against him too. Americas shallow and likes tall leaders.

(15,060 posts)thank him enough. A deadly hurricane just off the coast, DeSantis bloviates for 20 minutes, and then each of his appointed people take the mic, kiss his ass, talk about Hurricane Ian, and then kiss his ass again.
He indeed has "Dear Leader" syndrome, as well as an immense desire for the presidency.
The last "Dear Leader" fucked the country almost beyond repair. We don't need another one, but DeSantis doesn't give a shit what we need or don't need. He's determined to be the next "Dear Leader," and if he's elected president, don't expect any more elections to take place. Ever.

(3,356 posts)Questions that should be asked at his press briefings:
Do you now regret having voted against Hurricane Sandy relief when you were in Congress?
Do you think the $12 million in taxpayer funds used to forcefully relocate immigrants could have been better spent on your Floridas hurricane recovery?
