CNN had an interview with Maggie Haberman this morning and they discussed a part of her new book where she asked Trump if he took anything with him when he left the White House?
"Nothing of any urgency", he said.
Then he went off on a tangent about his letters from Kim Jong-Un and how he had many letters from other leaders also.
When asked directly if he had the letters from Kim Jong-Un, he replied that he believed the National Archives had "most of them". But he insinuated that he kept some of them.
When asked about what he was doing as the attack on our Capitol was taking place, he out right lied, knowing what we know now from the J6 hearings. He said he didn't know it was happening. He was in "meetings". He did not turn on his television. The only name he mentioned was "Mark Meadows", as if he knew that was the person that he most trusted to back up his lie.
We now know that he was watching television and enjoying it immensely. That several people called or texted Meadows to get a message to Donald Trump, including well -known FOX media hosts.
He veered off in another direction when he did not want to answer. He did not hesitate to lie outright when it presented a threat to him or was a benefit to him. He never answered any question with a straight honest response. There was always something nefarious hiding behind each and every word.
