Listening to Morning Joe and some of what I heard on MSNBC yesterday they are

talking about a huge loss of Latino support according to some recent poll. I mean this morning it sounded
like all of a sudden Democrats don't have a chance to hold the House and maybe not the Senate because of
the lack of Latino support. The poll they showed had Latino support for Democrats going from 54% last year
to 54% this year. Latino Republican support going from 28% to 33%. I don't see a huge loss going from 54% to 54%.
Are they trying to gin up turnout for Democrats?

New Mexico isn’t Texas or Florida but many here are pro-choice, pro-marriage equality and pro-Democrat. It’s because of them that we’re a solid blue state. The Republican candidate for governor is down 12 points and it’s largely because of Hispanics.

is unchanged at 54%. If Democrats get 54% we win, a change from 28% to 33%, Republicans still lose. I don't see where that s newsworthy.

14. I also think they aren't factoring in the younger Latinx vote. In other words, generational gap,

those younger will lean toward Democrats

Win or lose if Women and the younger voters do not come out in large numbers, I will be very disappointed

If someone sees no reason to vote now, I dont think they are a good fit to live in this country any longer.

We have to remember who Morning Joe is...a republican who likes to say he's a conservative now because the republican party is such a hot mess, trump cult now.

HE'S STILL A REPUBLICAN and will push anti-Democratic rhetoric.

9. I see people making something a poll of 700 Latinos

As you know that there is more than 700 Latinos in the country. Most other polls of Latinos have had Democrats support about or little above their 2020 support. We shouldn't wet the bed every time an outlier poll is released.

The Ecuadoran, Honduran, and Costa Rican community seem to be firmly Democratic in my District.

Perhaps you should read the actual poll, which didn't say that.

According to the poll:
1. Most latinos still vote Democratic.
2. However, the percentage that vote Democratic is dropping, just as it did in 2020.
3. The percentage planning to vote Republican is also dropping, as more Latinos consider just staying home.
4. No interpretation as to impact on holding the Senate, and nobody is currently assuming we'll hold the House under any circumstances.
