How much non-boots-on-the-ground support is the US providing Ukraine?

I can imagine we are sharing lots of NSA and CIA data to help with strategy?

I can imagine real time satellite data.

I can even imagine direct command and control of some weapons systems.

In fact, I can imagine we're doing everything we can short of US-issue shoes and boots on Ukrainian soil.

Yes it's obvious the US is providing more than is being made public. Irish_Dem Oct 2022 #8

Basically we taught their instructors how to instruct. We may still be providing training, but no US boots on the ground are involved in any combat.

WMD training to the Ukrainians prior to the pandemic.

I'm guessing there are boots on the ground in neighboring NATO countries teaching the Ukrainians the systems we're providing.

I understood we were mentoring them on the basics of training, too. I'm wondering if a cadre of Ukrainian DI's visited the US because because Ukraine did an exemplary job of expanding their 'Citizen's Army' into a cohesive fighting machine, something Putin failed miserably to do.

of them for WMD training (the scope of that particular contract) here in the US. Our trainers said they were great people to work with.

in 2008 when Russia invaded Rep of Georgia. That whole area "ramped up" their preparedness.
