(6,829 posts)and republic state legislatures overturning election results does seem like the end of democracy as we once knew it. if it happens, it won't be fixed in my lifetime, if ever.
were there any good things about 16th century religious dogma that could cheer us up? it couldn't possibly be all hell on earth, could it?
and i'm not trying to be sarcastic or hyperbolic. our Democracy could hit a brick wall for centuries if the un-American SC and Republic party follows through on their fascist totalitarian dreams. things are so grim irreversible climate change could be humanities only hope.
