Trump and his ilk will never really be on the ground for any civil war. They will just send MAGA children to be their cannon fodder. The wealthy will not fight. 9. I don't think it'll be a marching line of soldiers. I think it'll be more like small cell or

individual live-fire hit 'n' run attacks. Random mass murders in buildings, stores, neighborhoods, homes and communities. Wherever they think their "targets" will congregate. Some will be caught, some will be killed, and some will filter off to do it again, over and over. Terror attacks where you won't see them coming until it's happening. It'll be the signal for them to pack up their weapons and go out hunting on a mass scale.

I read it back in 2018/19, back when the idea of another civil war seemed to be fantasy. But it feels so prescient, and describes essentially what you're describing. Terror cells incited by foreign actors who want to stir up instability in the USA.

The author was a foreign correspondent.
