Malinowski (NJ), Casten (IL), Wild (PA) Propose Pull Troops from the Gulf

I'm not using their headline - because it's not a simple matter of 'revenge'. It's smart retaliation. They've made their bed with Putin, are trying to influence our election (gas prices), and we are still the largest producer of oil in America.

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/democrats-propose-pulling-troops-from-saudi-arabia-as-revenge-for-opec-move/ar-AA12FcCJ

Democratic Reps. Tom Malinowski of New Jersey, Sean Casten of Illinois and Susan Wild of Pennsylvania have introduced legislation asking for the withdrawal of all U.S. troops from Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, after OPEC announced its decision to curb oil production on Wednesday.

Tweet: "This is a hostile act by Saudi Arabia and the UAE, designed to hurt the United States and our allies and to help Russia, despite President Biden's overtures," Malinowski wrote on Twitter on Thursday."If Saudi Arabia and the UAE want to help Putin keep oil prices high, they should look to him for their defense," he added in a later tweet.

In a joint statement, Malinowski, Casten and Wild said: "OPEC's decision appears designed to increase Russia's oil export revenues, enabling Putin to continue his war crimes in Ukraine, and undercutting Western sanctions."

Malinowski, Casten and Wild said that Saudi Arabia's and the UAE's decision to cut oil production "despite President Biden's overtures to both countries in recent months, is a hostile act against the United States and a clear signal that they have chosen to side with Russia in its war against Ukraine." In response, they called for the U.S. to "resume acting like the superpower in our relationship with our client states in the Gulf."

Here's a link to the Bill:

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.
This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Strained Partnership Act’’

My Congressman (Malinowski) is facing a sharp battle in the NJ th with a guy who pals around with domestic terrorists (Kean Jr).
Huge risk to do this. However, his life has been Human Rights. He and his mom fled Poland when he was a little guy. He KNOWS Russia.

And we are the largest producer of oil globally.

Now is the time to call these three Representatives and have them add a cap on domestic gas prices. We have our own, in America (Gas/Oil Industry) trying to destroy us from within.

our national debt keeps rocketing up (already ove r$31,000,000,000,000).
In essence we are borrowing money to keep military installations abroad!
Does this make any kind of sense?
Servicing interest costs on national debt are already near one Billion dollars every day.

At one time, the Saudi royals were more afraid of their own citizens than outside forces. The Prince knew what to do to get that changed...let women drive, give them a little more freedom from religiosity, and kill off some older royals, and take charge of the propaganda. Sucker, the con-man-President with money and the promise to allow him to build super, super hotels and stuff and wholla!! You can grab the US by the ... well you know. And here we are. And guess what, Israel won't lift a finger to help us either. Trump took care of that too. They don't even have to pretend anymore.

US Oil Companies will raise their prices dramatically. They don't HAVE to - but they will because they are all about their profits.

I'd rather be fucked by an American company - then two countries that are in bed with Putin.

Khashoggi's death was enough.
UAE kissing Jared's ass while remaining a part of the embargo on Israeli products was enough.

It's just enough. I'm 49 - I will be 50 in February. I've had it with the middle east. Only country I care about is Israel. The rest can go to hell. Inflation isn't going away any time soon - I want the pain all at once.

from holding the US hostage over oil production. MBS and the UAE got in bed with Trump/Kushner, and they are betting that those two will return to power.

Highlighting how the Inflation Reduction Act enables more US energy independence through alternative energy should also be appealing to voters.

I think it's (inflation) is going to have to get worse, before it gets better.

I also have no doubt that the oil drillers in the USA will jack up their prices and give us pain at the pump. The American Consumer who CAN afford it will simply have to punish them buy purchasing electric vehicles. I can hang onto my beetle for another year or two until the electric model comes out.

He's a genuinely sweet and soft-spoken man. But - on this - I think he's willing to lose on a Human Rights issue such as Russia's invasion of Ukraine. He took heat from the left at a few of his town halls for Biden playing nice with Saudi Arabia.

And Italy and Germany - are positioned perfectly for issues on the NATO border. We remain members of NATO - and can never again be in a position of having to storm beaches in Europe.

Rammstein and the 7 bases in Italy are critical to making certain that never happens again. My husband engaged in some of his 300 Training at American bases with US Special Forces/Allies. Let's see what that itch face does in Italy in the next few months.

Our Pres personally asked them, and got turned down. I am not learned enough to know 100% how this should go, just bits and pieces. Go ahead, pull our troops out. I have felt for a long time that they are not our friends. We should economize, anyway. There are plenty of other, friendly nations where the troops can go. Like, the Baltics.
