Multiple people were stabbed in front of the Wynn Casino in Las Vegas just before noon on Thursday (October 6).

The Las Vegas Police Department said that six people had been stabbed, and one person died. The department said that victims have been hospitalized but did not provide any information about their conditions.

According to KVVU, some of the victims were showgirls who were taking photos with tourists.

The suspect was taken into custody. No further information has been released, and the police department said the investigation remains ongoing.

They advised that nearby roads are closed and asked the public to avoid the area.

This is purely just speculation, but my money is on either a religious nut upset about scantily clad women (either Muslim or Christian), or an incel.

Of course, it could just be a disgruntled employee or domestic violence.

Mass murder/assault are rarely committed by women.

But of course women are the ones who need to be highly controlled and regulated.

The suspect was taken into custody in front of the Venetian, reportedly with a significant amount of blood “on his sleeves.” Police are currently transporting multiple victims to area hospitals with "unknown extent of injuries," according to a spokesperson.

One woman, who claims four of the injured showgirls work for her, told the woman he "was a chef" and wanted to take a picture with the showgirls "with his knife." The woman tells 13 Action News says the stabbings began when the women declined his offer.

13. I work a few blocks from there. The Strip is not a safe place.

I've been assaulted multiple times at work for a well-known retail drug store, as recently as three days ago.

I used to work on the very block where the stabbings occurred, next to the Westin Hotel. It also happens to be the same block where Tupac Shakur was shot years ago. About a year ago I watched a homeless person setting fire to all the trash cans with flammable liquid along same block.

I'm not saying don't come to Vegas, but it's not Disneyland.
