(31,124 posts)campaign, she was describing how terrible things could be and how bad certain people were but in a way that she felt pretty confident they would never get power and they would remain the outliers.
Watching her leave her show tells me that she knows what I know and others know that this is going to get much worse and it's not safe for us here anymore.

And ideologue with only three real principles:
-the supremacy of white people
-the rule of the wealthy and privileged
-fear and hatred of the Other
And that keeping government out of lives, homes and bedrooms is just a bullshit slogan for when these scum arent in power.
Liburdy, yall.

(4,909 posts)I REALLY appreciate what Jon is doing here, particularly calling out the fake "experts" that she refers to.
In addition to allowing unqualified witnesses to testify without time limitation in support of the bill, the relevant committees limited all witness testimony from critics to two minutes. As a result, the Arkansas Academy of Pediatrics, other professional healthcare providers, and transgender Arkansans and their family members were all cut off mid-sentence while attempting to give testimony against the bill.

I am so sick of the religious right and their absolute belief that they should be in charge of making everyone else's decisions for them.
Jon is a master at taking this BS down.
