Republican ads are hammering home how Inflation has sprung up with Biden in office. Indeed, inflation is the #1 issue. What is less known is that the major driver of inflation now is monopolies. More and more narket share is controlled by fewer and fewer corporations. As a result, the corporations can set the prices as they want for lack of worrying about competition (don’t Republicans extoll comptition any more?). Democratic campaign ads and officials should be hammering this home in ads and on media.

It's the best, and possibly the only, way to control markets. Monopolies control the price of everything and can increase them if they want more and more.

The US is a group of regional monopolies abusing customers the best way they can. Overcharging and moving jobs to foreign countries broke the unions and gave the US an oligarchy.
