WW2 was a direct result of making Germany pay the bills after WW1. The West is going to get stuck with this bill and we will be stuck with all the military costs.

Russia's army is now exposed as third rate, and with Finland and Sweden now in NATO, and possibly Ukraine in the near future, Russia may try to pull a Germany/Hitler WWll act, but being surrounded by NATO countries all bound by treaty to protect each other, they won't be successful.

I'd think they've learned their lesson to stop attacking other countries and just sell their oil and be productive contributor in the community of nations. There will be no more Russian empire and Putin, if he even survives, is no Peter the Great 2.0.
