Time to review Trump's options. How prescient was the Brooking Institution in 2021?

https://www.brookings.edu/blog/fixgov/2021/02/05/trumps-future-nine-possibilities/

Trump’s future: Nine possibilities

1. Leading the “Trumpublican” faction of the GOP - Yes
2. Uniting MAGA to form a third party - Maybe - (if he isn't in jail)
3. Continuing calls for violent insurrection - Yes (kinda, sorta)
4. Creating his own communications company - Yes (failed)
5. Maintaining marginal status in the GOP akin to Sarah Palin - No (he'll be infamous, she'll be forgotten)
6. Get convicted by the Senate by a Republican Party ready to move on - No (the Dems will get him; tick tock)
7. Disappearing in a swamp of criminal charges and civil suits - Yes - It's begun (hee, hee)
8. Going to jail - Not yet (but it's coming)
9. Looking abroad, either for refuge or to enrich himself - Not yet, but he could soon (see #8)
