Students suspected Thomson was intoxicated after he “crowd-surfed” through the student section at a Baker High School football game, Lefancheck said in a news release Friday night.

The students told school staff about their suspicions and the staff notified Baldwinsville police officers that were at the game, Lefancheck said Saturday.

Thomson left the game before police or school officials could find him and confront him about their suspicions, Lefancheck said. He did not know if Thomson left before or after the game had ended.

Thomson was then seen driving on the school campus and East Oneida Street, Lefancheck said.

is well compensated. He's won awards for the best superintendent in the state. Great guy. He comes to our Dem club meetings when there are bond issues. He comes to speak about issues with the state legislature. Also this is the 26th largest district in the United States. Larger districts always pay their admins more because their campuses are so much larger etc.

Super was paid $228k. When that guy retired, the pay was reduced to $165k.
They had 27 candidates for the job. So, they clearly were overpaying for this area.
The principals make $110-135k depending on length of service and grade level.
We're far enough removed from the urban center that cost of living is pretty reasonable.
