An update from Crimea (no trains 4 u)

(((Tendar)))
@Tendar
Day 4 and still no train runs on the Kerch Bridge. No (military) supplies for Kherson and Zaporizhzhia since 4 days, at least not in large quantities. Remember, war of logistics and every day counts. #Kerch #Crimea #Ukraine

The Russians are still testing the line

They know that they need to replace the bridge itself. The concrete making up the bridge structure came under intense heat, and concrete does not do well with high heat. It's likely too compromised to send even one car over it. The weight and vibration could make a large chunk of the bridge collapse.

If that's true, they were almost certainly only a few cars long and were pretty much empty. Sending long heavy freight trains over it is a different matter altogether.
