(3,360 posts)Same as the other four and flu shot the same. I'm 86 and keep expecting problems but so far so good, just minor irritation.

(19,144 posts)Got the 5th shot as soon as available a few weeks ago and had slightly less reaction than earlier versions. Held off on flu vaccine until yesterday. First time flu shot didnt make my arm really sore for a few days. Hoping you have similar minimal impact 🙂

(91,512 posts)I had a nasty reaction to the flu shot, the arm was red and tender. My temp shot to 101.5. Two days, then I was fine. My body doesn't like the flu shot, it is not the first time I have had a reaction. The COVID arm was fine.
I am just glad I am vaxed.

(10,569 posts)I am a little worried that I got the flu shot too soon. It might have been better to wait another month.

(91,512 posts)However I am still masking 90% of the time. In the 2 years of COVID, I haven't even had a cold.
That says a lot.

My case wasn't too bad. The vaccine and paxlovid made it a mild experience.
If you have gotten 4-5 shots then you are in good shape. Your T-cells should be well trained to fight it off.

(52,897 posts)...a big migraine. I has a slight migraine from the previous shots but this time was worse, nausea, etc.
I would still get the shot even if I knew it would make me feel a little shitty compared to REALLY shitty with Covid. I will continue to get boosted as long as they make effective ones.

(28,774 posts)Flu shots have never bothered me but I've spent a day in bed after each Covid shot. I took Friday off assuming it will be the same this time.
