It may be just me but I believe there are a lot of privileged, powerful, wealthy people who

ought to feel totally betrayed, embarrassed, ashamed, regretful, foolish, defrauded, and angry about having put so much of their wealth and reputation behind an ignorant, cowardly fascist like Trump. But they won't admit to those feelings even if they have them because they suffer from affluenza and were a real part of Trump's fiendish cult themselves.

And now, for having been exposed for what they really are, they will set out to exact punishment on the rest of us who only have the power of our votes (if we are allowed to use it) to fight back. They will continue to exact economic and social punishment on us for being less powerful but smarter, kinder, more compassionate, more honest, more patriotic, and more fearless than they.

We are proud of our leaders Pelosi and Schumer and how they showed real leadership under duress on Jan 6. Hats off to them and even Mitch and Pence who insisted on going back to finish their Constitutional duties at the risk of possible death.

We know who we are and we now know exactly who they are. We must be as fearless as our leaders and carry out or duty to vote the bastards out.

THANK YOU J6 COMMITTEE FOR A JOB WELL DONE!!!

Nah. They got their tax breaks and their deregulations. That's what they wanted from him. Scrivener7 Oct 2022 #3

And I have zero optimism that most, if any, of them will be voted out. Their constituents think they now have POWER which is something they've never had.

I hope I am wrong.

or ashamed or foolish. Even if MF45 has something on them, I suspect many believe they can lie their way out of it.

Angry? Betrayed? Yeah, definitely. They'll probably back off, regroup, then continue working on taking down democracy.

None of them believed the lies. They wanted a sociopath who would dismantle our structure to make it easier for them to plunder the country. He gave them everything they ever dreamed of.

The ones who SHOULD be feeling betrayed are the ones who voted for him who will now pay with their money or their health or their well-being for those tax breaks and deregulations. And the ones who believed all his lies and became his groupies and then ended up in jail for their efforts. But those people will admit the feelings because they can't admit they were had.

But for the rest of your post: hell YEAH!
