Trump threatens legal action over Pulitzer Prize website as J6 issues subpoena

The same day Donald Trump was subpoenaed by the House Select Committee Investigating the Jan. 6 Attack on the U.S. Capitol, attorneys for the former president threatened legal action against the Pulitzer Prize Board.

In a letter sent to the organization's New York address at Columbia University a notice it was considering litigation under Florida's defamation law.

The letter complains about a statement the board published to its website about complaints it awarded 2018 Pulitzer Prizes to The New York Times and Washington Post.

"These inquiries prompted the Pulitzer Board to commission two independent reviews of the work submitted by those organizations to our National Reporting competition," the Pulitzer board said. "Both reviews were conducted by individuals with no connection to the institutions whose work was under examination, nor any connection to each other. The separate reviews converged in their conclusions: that no passages or headlines, contentions or assertions in any of the winning submissions were discredited by facts that emerged subsequent to the conferral of the prizes."

And the meltdown continues.

These two are young, out of law school less than 10 years, and (of course) members of the Federalist Society. Hell of a way to launch your legal careers, guys.

The lawsuit against Clinton and a good number of other, the lawsuit against CNN and now this claim are all lawsuits that have been or will be dismissed

problem is, the courts have not declared him one. Because he files in so many different jurisdictions? Because someone thinks he has money and will pay his lawyers? Because of his habit of suing people without his resources into the ground?

Nunes should have been labeled as a vexatious litigant a long time ago

11. They should tell him they'll rescind their prizes

Only after HE rescinds granting Presidential Medals of Freedom to known liars like Rash Limpf--k and Gym Pedo Jordan.

Oh, and his pardons of known criminals like Steve Bannon and Roger Stone.

Then renege on the deal, like he always does, and not revoke the prizes.

At least the Pulitzer board will be on the side of truth and morality.
