Statutory Immunity. A court order that grants immunity and compels a witness to testify.

To be granted permission the US Attorney must show the testimony is necessary to the public interest and the individual has or will invoke the 5th.

Do you believe this will be something Garland may have to consider using as he moves forward in his investigations? A lot of people have taken the 5th. These investigations are definitely in the publics interest.

I do not believe Statutory Immunity grants full immunity. People can get a lesser sentence if they tell all truthfully.

Compelling Meadows to testify would be one example. He knows everything.

But I don’t think DOJ should offer it to any of the coup architects, certainly not Meadows. Underlings (Hutchinson, Fraudulent electors) surely know enough to incarcerate numerous coup architects, without letting any of them off.

Then, once the architects are facing prison time, they can decide if they’d like to cooperate and reduce their sentences.

NO IMMUNITY DEAL FOR COUP ARCHITECTS.

I want as many of the assistants, aides, and peons prosecuted as possible. Even if the lack of cooperation from this one or that one makes it harder to nail TFG.

TFG couldn't have done anything without the scads of enablers around him. No fucking deals for those people. They get what they deserve first and foremost. That's how we prevent this from happening with the next guy.
