Why stolen documents in one location was not probable cause to look in other properties is a mystery to me.

But they have witnesses now.

5. To get a warrant, they have to be specific about what they will find.

They can't blanket search all his properties unless they're certain they are there.

If this witness can attest that government records are in a particular location, that might be enough.

Even if the FBI finds some of the bank money in one home, it cannot search any other property the person owns.

In a just world if you find stolen goods in a person's home, his vacation cottage is fair game.

In a sane world, stolen goods in one property is probable cause to look at all properties.

They've probably been destroyed since he knows the feds are on to him and will execute search warrants. Or any remaining documents are hidden...I sort of remember that the search warrant on MAL prohibited a search of guest rooms. And there's always Ivana's grave.

The FBI however, can't get a search warrant unless they are sure they'll find something in the area
specified by the warrant.

An Aide had to report this to the FBI? Really? Cuz, they had no idea that had happened or could possibly have happened?

It never even entered their wildest imaginations. NARA didn't give them a heads up?
