9. Mr H is marking up the CA voting guide booklet as we speak: he actually reads thru the propositions

…which is a big help. We’ve got the local Dem voting guide, and pretty soon we’ll look up League of Women Voters, and go online to check the endorsements of the liberal weekly from where we used to live.

By the time that’s done we should have our mail-in ballots in hand. The closest drop-off is about a mile away.

Straight ticket? Absolutely. The GOP told us who they were over half a century ago, and I have never yet seen a candidate I’d vote for who supports their platform.
