Sure I was wary, but they came through in a quite reasonable time frame.

Just keep apprised of their updates. If you need to call them, do dat and don't let go!

if bank or credit card. Esp. backed up by a credit card company. Then you can generate a dispute for the item and the bank or card company does the investigation.

So if a shipper uses UPS but sends it to the local PO for the last mile (USPS) it gets returned to sender and a refund will eventually be issued. On top of that, we have no home delivery for daily mail so you either pay for a PO Box or you don't get regular mail.

Kinda sucks.

Packages shipped through Amazon delivery get here. When Amazon ships through USPS, they never arrive. I use the designated delivery services to decide among vendors, but occasionally one slips through using USPS. When I see this, I just accept that I won't be getting the package. If I can, I reorder from another vendor.

Amazon has never failed to refund my money. It has been pretty seamless.

For years our mailman appeared at just about the same time every day, with some minor variance. Now, he can appear at 4:30 in the afternoon, 9:00 in the morning, or just not appear at all.

That prick has damn-near ruined an American institution.

I worked briefly at FedEx. New workers or specially hired contractors (me) might be slow and still in the building.

A recent package from Melbourne, Australia came to Los Angeles, then all the way up to the East Bay, less than a day away--then disappeared for five days, finally popping up again in Pittsburgh. A few days later it was delivered safe and sound. Not the first time a package of mine has been diverted to tour the continental US!

My package from overseas said delivered to a New Mexico Indian pueblo - post mistress called and they sent impackage on its way - to the next pueblo - she called next Pueblo and told them to put package in a big envelope addressed to her - then the package went to Texas - but I finally got it.

Quite a few times, my Amazon packages have gotten lost - I get a refund and then weeks later the package arrives.

I also track all of my packages especially because I get all my med from the VA by mail. First, I get a notice that the VA had told USPS they are going to send me a package. Then I follow it to the different post offices until the last notice that it is in my mailbox. I have never had a problem and I have been getting my meds here since 2001.

DeJoy's new plan for USPS: Slower mail and higher prices, sources say

Self-serving sycophant of Trump with a goal of sabotaging the PO for two reasons: his own gain and loyalty to Trump.

Destroying million$ of mail sorting machines and going back to manual labor.

Surely there must be a cost-benefit analysis to make such a business decision. Let's see it.
