What's the deal? Sunday yakk shows saying our House is doomed for sure, Senate maybe.

Please, am not dragging on us, will be heartily sick if we lose one or both.

Of course, ABC with Chris CHRISPY was cheerful about it. CBS (pollster?) put the potential wingnut House total at 25 seats, the only little hopeful bit for us being that if the margin were 10 or less then McCARTHY would have a harder time for Speaker. Barf barf and double barf. They said that The Olds will definitely turn out and will go wingnut, with the only hope for Dems being the Yoots turning out (not dependable).

*** I am not the SOURCE of this crap. Am hoping somebody will shine a light for me here. It's horrible in my area (don't ask), with the complaint that the National Dem funding from the Congressional cash not sending here, like signing death warrants.

They're like assholes; everybody's got one. And the opinions of the assholes on the Sunday morning talk shows, which are watched by almost nobody, are worth that which emanates from said assholes.

The Republican “brand” has had some pretty massive unforced errors recently - Stolen files, DeSantis flight, Herschel (a personal check really?)..
Add in the Jan 6 hearings. Oh we can’t forget Roe.

You and I are a lock. The cult and Fox/talk radio believers are a lock. It’s the women in the burbs that will decide this and I can’t imagine any of these things have helped in any way. The media wants at least a Republican House. More drama and they have to have Republican on their shows, I mean there’s actually a reason to have them on. This talk is “hey everyone is doing it! Don’t you want to be just like everyone else? It’s THE THING TO DO!” that sort of thing.

As much as I’m into politics I can’t imagine watching any of those Sunday shows any more.

They're trying to depress democratic turnout. It's what they do. They never try to depress repub turnout, only dems. Even the "liberal" stations are glum about dem chances. I doubt the MSM cares if the country goes full on fascist since a good share of them are half way there, already.

that will come from women voters next month. We Dems could still hold the House, and I think we have an even better chance to hold the Senate.

I think we can still pull off a House win, but it WILL be close and there is a good chance of Republicans taking control by a small margin. Better to start with a realistic analysis of the current situation and work from there.
