1. California is paying over 5 dollars a gallon in the cheapest areas and as much as over 7 dollars

a gallon in the northern and southern parts of the state. Last time oil was at this price we were under 4 dollars a gallon. Something is going on, that's for damn sure.

When people are complaining about high pump prices and trying to blame President Biden, I'll post a link to any of about a hundred stories detailing the quarterly profits being posted by the big oil companies. "Gee, do you think this might have anything to do with $5 gas? Be sure you're mad at the right people."

Somehow energy independence means more Canadian tar sands oil.

It's all about dumbing down the people with simplistic bullsh*t.

If the people are continuously kept in the shallow end of the pool, they never learn to swim and it becomes easier to manipulate us with fear of drowning while the less than 1% laugh all the way to the bank.

Marx believed that capitalists use religion to justify their mode of production and accumulation of wealth at the expense of workers.

For the very same reason when given the choice of choosing between people vs corporations most Americans will choose the corporation believing they are the good guys because they provide jobs.

In a word.....FASCISM.

That's not the increased cost of doing business, that's just gouging. Greed.

And they can do it because there is no real competition in any industry these days, thus no reason to sell for less. Just vacuum the money up to the top and make sure it goes through as few hands as possible before it gets there.
