Donald Trump berated American Jews on social media Sunday morning, telling them to get their act together and offer him more gratitude for his policy toward Israel.
No President has done more for Israel than I have, Trump wrote. Somewhat surprisingly, however, our wonderful Evangelicals are far more appreciative of this than the people of the Jewish faith, especially those living in the U.S.
Trump went on to claim that he was so popular in Israel he could easily be prime minister, and instructed American Jews to get their act together and appreciate what they have in Israel Before it is too late!
Trumps remarks come at the end of a busy week for MAGA figures and in anti-Semitism. In an interview released this weekend, Kanye West disparaged Jewish Zionists. Trump has thus far been quiet on West, but other pro-Trump voices including Ben Shapiro and Elon Musk have equivocated in their condemnation, unwilling to fully go after a pro-Trump celebrity.

(7,850 posts)on social media...and, well, we all know Trump isn't big on sharing the media spotlight, so the depraved soulless asshole reached into his treasure chest of hate and what do you know, out came his loathsome go-to Jews-Israel-divide loyalty trope...I'm shocked...
Justice matters.

TFG is stupid if he thinks that he can threaten American Jews into supporting him.

(70,510 posts)Trump was and still is openly anti Semitic. Remember his "Caravans of Refugees" coming from
Central America that were being financed by "International Money Men?" And that lie found a
home in some sick bastard who shot up a Synagogue in Squirrel Hill, PA.

(9,998 posts)supposed to happen? This is like the doomsday prophecies that say the world will end on October 30, 2022 (or whenever). When the date passes and nothing happens, they dont stop believing in the prophecy, as rational people would, they just change the date to sometime in the future and start preaching the end of the world all over again. What a bunch of kooks.

"Well, and again, I mean, even the fine line, Jews need to basically 'get their act together before it's too late,' is obviously deeply disturbing because it's not sending a dog whistle -- it's an out and out threat," Scarborough interjected.
"The thing is, there were some observers that said, as always, it's not about Jews in Israel, it's not about Jews in America, it's always about Donald Trump," he continued. "He's still smarting by the fact that over three out of four Jews in America voted for Joe Biden, so there are people close to him that suggest that still rankles him that he got beaten so badly among Jewish voters in America."
He then added, "But to do that, and say basically they better get their act together before it's too late, sounds ominous. It sounds ominous like saying that [Senate Minority Leader] Mitch McConnell has a quote 'death wish'."
