(209 posts)I presume that Alex Jones stood by and used those supplements he sold as part of his hate enterprise.

(35,721 posts)Ive learned something very interesting about facial wrinkles.
I think they are caused by muscular rigidness.
The reason I think this is that I do relaxation exercises. When I relax facial muscles, I notice that there is almost always rigidness in the muscles. Over time, I think this is probably one of the biggest causes of facial wrinkles.
A friend of mine just spent $23,000 on a facelift. In addition she buys all kinds of expensive lotions for her face. In fact, the best thing anyone can do for facial wrinkles is to learn how to relax not only the face but the entire body. Its free.
On another topic, Paul Rudd is a Jersey born actor who now lives in Rhinebeck New York.
What Mary said hits the nail on the head. If this is what hate did to his face (Jones), imagine what its done to his soul.

(8,291 posts)My sis in law looks exactly like her grandmother now that shes 60. Her whole face is lined with wrinkles and they are beautiful. She has always taken care of her skin but genetics was her curse.
My Mother had very few wrinkles and thankfully, I inherited that from her. I also inherited her thyroid disease, high blood pressure and osteoporosis. Some genes are just assholes.

(9,104 posts)I'm pale banshee folk and don't really have wrinkles. What I've really avoided are crows feet around the eyes. I have friends who started getting them in their late 20s/early 30s. They just don't do sunscreen as often as they should.
I do my outdoor exercise stuff in the morning, usually pre-dawn. My post-shower face moisturizer has spf 30 in it, which is just fine for day to day running of errands and walking from car to place. If I'm doing something like going for a hike, an outdoor market, the beach, etc, then the pointed sunscreen comes out for neck, ears, etc.
It's a pretty simple thing. Just slap some sunscreen on every day you know you'll be out in the sun. So many people just don't make it a routine.
I do have slight laugh lines and a wrinkle between my brows, because people insist I keep making eyebrows at them. Even at my computer in the middle of the night, I sometimes realize I am making a face at something someone's saying or doing. Bad habit.
As far as Jones goes, that seriously just looks like a lot of sun damage. People who sit out on a boat all day types and are regularly that kind of idly dusky burn/tan.

(16,497 posts)To be fair, I think nature has probably had some assistance in Rudd's case. I'd be surprised if that smooth, unlined forehead hasn't made the acquaintance of a botox needle. (And in his line of work, looking good is of great importance, so who could blame him.)
Jones, otoh, reminds me of how my mom used to tell me not to pout or frown, because my face might "get stuck that way." Jones's face looks like it has been contorted with rage for so long that it really DID get stuck that way!
