Every "new" news story tonight on MSNBC

I have already read about on DU. This is the place to go to for legitimate reporting in a timely manner. I thank everyone at DU for keeping me "up to date" since I discovered DU in 2016, and for continuing to do so!!!!!!!! I tell everyone I know to come here for info...however none of them do so. However, since they know that I refer them to DU they know my reports are legit.

2. Yes, I have done this and it always comes back as legit.

Since the DU posting rules require back up from legit sources I have learned how to back up the info with other sources than posted here or plan to post here. If I can't provide non- biased sources then I know not to post them and/or to change the post to correct them. You guys keep me on my toes! If I do not provide legit sources I am called out for it and rightly so! I appreciate this!!!

You get not just the headlines and breaking news but some really intelligent analysis. We've got perspectives here from all over the place: academically, geographically, culturally, professionally, with umpteen different degree kinds and levels, life-experience, specializations, and a whole lot more.

And the analysis here isn't restricted to 30-second soundbites, or reluctance to piss off the other side (who we have to tiptoe around and be so carefully and delicately considerate). They have yet to return the favor in their behavior, statements. and reactions.

ago after a long time and had to bail when they were blaming Biden for keeping Ukraine from negotiating with Russia to prevent/stop the war, how they had to negotiate now, etc … basically lots of Putin talking points.

Mostly positive stories, which I can really appreciate. The news has been too frikkin' dark lately.

It looks like Independent Evan McMullin has a decent shot to unseat Mike Lee. It would not be a Dem seat, but would be a big improvement over Lee.

DUers are incredible news hounds, and their sources are top-rate. I always know national news hours ahead of everyone else, and have a more expansive understanding of the issues. This place really does rock.

and read the WaPo and NYT. I also look at Reuters and some British papers.
Of course I use DU, and a few other sources. I feel informed.
