(23,102 posts)My heart problems have increased a lot since I had Covid, dr. thinks it might be Long Covid related since that's when the racing began. I just finished my 2nd month long heart monitoring event and will see her in a few weeks to see what the test picked up.

(10,676 posts)I brought it home from a mask optional eye doctor. 70-yr-old SO caught it, too. Two courses of pavloxid, now has shortness of breath he has to see a pulmonologist for. I'm still having headaches. Got my taste back.
Caught it 6 weeks ago. We're homebound, so we may have fatigue we're not sure of. Very worried about long- term health repercussions.

(11,023 posts)Like, I can't summon the energy to walk upstairs to lay down, or going through the drive-thru for lunch completely wears me out.
It's not happening often, but it is happening.
I've been negative since late July.

(57,073 posts)There have been several ops here on DU about recent studies on long covid.
A bit busy atm, but will try to round them up for you later & post here if someone else doesn't.
My advice: share your concerns with a competent medical practitioner.

(10,426 posts)I got COVID back around Memorial Day. I had a normal case - it was about a week long. Got on Paxlovid as soon as I could. My husband got it at the same time. He had a rebound case, I did not. After that, we started gaining weight inexplicably. We both eat keto, and had been maintaining specific weights. All of the sudden, both of us started retaining fluid and gaining multiple pounds a day. We also have fatigue and trouble breathing. I finally got a doctor to listen to me and had some tests run. I have some damage in my right lung. I'm going to a pulmonologist - that I already see for my CPAP - tomorrow morning.

(4,483 posts)The brain fog is, thanks god, finally clearing and I can pay my own bills again--my sister-in-law was having to write the checks for me to sign, and I can read short posts here and magazine articles.
The fatigue comes and goes. I'll have a good day and get things done, then the next day I feel like I've been hit by a truck.
Still having trouble getting interested in eating, still down 20 lbs.
and so on.
