Worse, the damned Republicans are going to say it's "God's Will" that they did.

(3,495 posts)does it make a noise?
Of course it does. The impacts of criminalizing abortion will be directly recorded by government statistics. More women will die in child birth once these laws take effect. That's why some states will try and bury or delay the release of these statistics because it will be so obvious. That is, if the M$M even bothers to report on it.
You pretty much said what I was going to say.

(2,357 posts)They all agreed that some women find an abortion necessary, but they didn't believe statistics about abortion numbers -- they doubted it occurred as often as people think. They said that the women who did get abortions were a) careless because birth control is so available, and b) some "trampy" women use abortions as birth control. These women aren't avid churchgoers, either.
All three felt that the media (except for Fox) was left-leaning and abortion stories -- like the 10 yo incest victim who had to travel to get an abortion -- were not believable. One woman said to me, "I only believe what I see with my own eyes."
After I left our discussion I wondered how many R women, since the Dobbs decision, have suddenly found the need for abortion in their own families -- only to find it's not easily accomplished anymore. Are they now seeing it with their own eyes? Apparently, that's a requirement for Repugs. Facts have to smack them in the face to be believed.
