I'm 76 and in a nursing home.
Other than DU where can I look for a quick look at top news headlines
I tire easily and am not well.
I know folks will plug DU.
I love it but want something more general news wise, and USA
Thanks

(10,920 posts)I used to use https://news.yahoo.com a lot, but more and more of the news stories one clicks on give a short summary and then a paywall.
So I switched to https://www.msn.com/en-us/news
with other news choices on the top line.
For some reason, almost none of their articles are paywalled, even ones from paywalled sites like NY Times and Washington Post. I don't know what kind of arrangement they have, but I like it.
The bad part is that there are many articles from the Washington Examiner and Fox "News". I ignore those because I know I will be at best misinformed by them.
