Dick Van Dyke is purest 'angel' as he hands out cash to jobseekers and homeless in Malibu

Dick Van Dyke has proved himself to be one of the most generous stars around once again, as he handed out cash to those in need.

The Mary Poppins actor, 96, took time from his day to visit the Malibu Community Labor Exchange recently, offering his time and money to locals.

According to multiple US reports, the Hollywood icon met with jobseekers while at the non-profit organization, which has been set up to provide people looking for work or a home with support.

He kept things low-key for the outing, opting for a loose white shirt and grey tracksuit bottoms, paired with black slip on trainers.

‘Whenever I have some fives I come by,’ Dick told the Daily Mail of his efforts. ‘You can’t do it all the time, though.’

‘Just call him an angel from God,’ an employee added to the publication of his charitable efforts.

Dubious about the 'angel' part, but Dick van Dyke has certainly acted like a gentleman EYESORE 9001 Oct 2022 #6

to Danville, Illinois for a visit. I was 10 or 11 and was awe struck seeing my first movie star in person. My childhood friends mother dated him once in highschool. Gene Hackman also lived in the same neighborhood.

spare change asker and give them a ten dollar bill. Usually they look super surprised as I don't look rich and drive an old car. Then they say thank you and God Bless. Me, "you are welcome and I'm an Atheist".
