Now is the Time

The Republican party has shown us who they are - and have done so openly, brazenly, and without shame.

They are the party of racists, homophobes, xenophobes, and misogynists.

They are the party of science-deniers, fact-deniers, and reality-deniers.

They have promoted the most corrupt politicians to the highest ranks within their party, along with the most ill-informed, downright idiotic candidates/office-holders the nation has ever known.

They lie, they cheat, they steal. They spit on the Constitution while calling themselves 'patriots', they defy the laws they swore to uphold, they encourage violence as a means to their own ends.

The bottom line is this: If you are still a Republican, you stand with them on all of the above. You stand with the racists, the homophobes, the xenophobes, the misogynists, the corrupt, the liars, the violence-inciters, the law-breakers, and the brainless idiots they want to put into power.

The time for believing that by continuing to support the GOP, you will change its direction from within, or 'turn the party around' has long passed. That's not going to happen.

Now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their party? No, now is the time for all decent Republicans to abandon the party that no longer stands for the principles it once so proudly hailed.

At this point in our nation's history, there is nothing more pathetic than a Republican voter who still thinks their party has any interest in preserving our democracy.

The ball is in your court, GOP voters. Are you going to stand up for America - or are you going to vote for those who want to destroy it?

Think about it - because if you choose to vote (R), I can guarantee you're not going to like the consequences.

I won't even call them Republicans, I call them Magats. Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger are Republicans.

that it's to the point where voting may not be enough and common sensed people will find that the MAGA candidates are not the problem but the MAGA voters are the greatest threat.

Love the last sentence. Too bad most of them are too closed-minded to see the truth in that statement.

and that (D)'s are the problem & killing democracy.
They feel that the current DOJ are going after (R)'s, like Pendejo45, for no reason. Forget that the (D)'s are following the rule of law.

They literally can't see the forest through the trees.

They'll find a way. Tried to talk to an idiot sibling who's living on social security - about social security. Door slammed in my face.

So that's the end of that. When they crash the US economy to force cuts, privatization and/or turning it into a means-tested welfare program for which sister will not qualify - she'll blame Democrats.

That's how they roll.
