Hope NATO is ready to sink his Black Sea fleet and directly target his generals in Ukraine

They pulled all their officers out, leaving green, unled troops. Are they going to blow the dam and drown Kherson? Nuke it? He's a madman.

The high command are flooding the Kherson fight with new conscripts and are also evacuating the seasoned but tired well trained troops. That will leave UKR killing/capturing new conscripts. What I think is strange is any thought of blowing the Nova K'hovka dam would flood mainly the southern bank of the Dnipro river.. right where the ruzzians are evacuation to.. Strange but that's war. It makes no sense.

Pulling back behind the river quick as possible is the sensible military thing to do. It is not a very politic thing to do, to put it mildly, however. Till now, it is concerns with prestige and politics that have guided Russian actions at Kherson.

The price required by the Butcher of Syria was a free hand to withdraw, and avoid a catastrophic defeat marking his assumption of command.
