People can vent after the election. Doom and gloom isn't justified by the actual news and it doesn't do any good in getting out the vote.

It's too perfect to have been painted or transferred on the building.

See how easy it is to manipulate people into thinking they're seeing something that isn't actually there? No wonder the world's so messed up.

That's a helluva'n undertaking. I didn't think there was any way in hell that was hand painted.

Thanks for the information. 👍

I figured it has to be digitally created. There no flaws at all. It looks as if it was drawn on a huge canvas. It's a remarkable creation.

https://www.sandrachevrier.com/blog/2020/3/25/the-beauty-of-liberty-and-equality-a-collaboration-with-shepard-fairey-aka-obey-giant

To me, one of the most Important thing about this project is that it was created by a man and a woman/ Shepard Fairey and myself. We women have been fighting for more than a century for equal rights, for our voices to be heard and for Freedom. Men can be our allies, they can support us, hold our hands high and fight by our side. Let’s be a team, let’s work together to make a change. With this mural; we celebrate the 100th anniversary of the passage of the 19th amendment which gave the women the right to vote (not all of them unfortunately but it was a start). Thanks to Shepard Fairey; a great Artist, a great Thinker and a great Communicator who’s been extremely generous and comforted me trough all the process of my largest mural to date. Was an honor to work and laugh with the team Nic Bowers, Rob Zagula, Dan Flores and photographer Jonathan Furlong .

We live in a time where there’s a lot of ugliness and darkness but let’s not forget about all the beauty and the light. We are the poison, we are the cure. Let’s celebrate Liberty and Equality… and this is why we decided to call this special piece; « The beauty of Liberty and Equality » that now stands as the largest mural in Austin, Texas on the 12 stories of The Line Hotel.
Again thanks to « Writing on the walls », Downtown Austin Alliance, The Line Hotel and Station16 . To my wonderful and fun assistants Frederick Ouellet and Luis Angulo and all of those who contributed to this project.

Shepard Fairey of Obey of course did this long ago:

This 12-story mural was recently painted on the west side of The Line hotel (formerly a Radisson), right next to the Congress Avenue Bridge. Urban artists Sandra Chevrier and Shepard Fairey created this gigantic piece in honor of the 100th anniversary of the passage of the 19th Amendment, giving women the right to vote. It took them four days to paint what is now the biggest mural in Austin. The mural, which doesn’t seem to have a name, is part of the Writing on the Walls project sponsored by the Downtown Austin Alliance.

We can do this! Even getting one more person to VOTE is massively helpful.
We can give Biden (and ourselves) a Congress to work for us.
In Wisconsin, we can re-elect Governor Evers, to prevent a GQP shitstorm of bad legislation. And when I say "bad" I mean fascist.
