They both received high-rent condos from Chump in lieu of salary, and that enabled them to cheat the taxman. Since they didn't declare the free condos as part of their income, their income taxes were way under-reported.

So he's already convicted on that one, but the question is, what else will he/did he tell the investigators after they got him on this one? We all know that's not the only thing in Chump's bag of tricks. He's been skirting the law and breaking the law as long as he's been in business. I'm guessing Weisselberg got promised a reduced sentence for cooperating, and he has already given up the goods. As soon as he testifies against Chump, Weisselberg will get off with "time served." (That's my guess.)
