She will be at Flying Saucer downtown and will be interviewing Beto.
Heading down there with a couple of friends to wave signs.
Today and tomorrow Beto is visiting early voting locations around the Metroplex. The videos show great turnout for a very wet day over in Dallas county.
He will be in Tarrant County tomorrow and I will be going to the nearest voting location. I hope he draws a large crowd.

(22,264 posts)I have enjoyed living here.
Things are changing here. Beto carried Tarrant County in 2018, and Biden carried Tarrant County in 2020
Tarrant is the last metropolitan county in Texas to flip blue.
For Beto to win, we need to increase turnout in all of our large cities in order to offset the rural counties where Republican margins are higher
.
In 2018, Tarrant County had 300,000 Democratic or Democrat leaning voters who did not vote. Since 2018, we have registered 176000 new voters here. Ted Cruz won that election by 254,000 votes. Tarrant County is the lynchpin for a statewide Democratic victory.
I went to a rally Sunday night and that room was on fire! Beto's people were signing up volunteers left and right. This has been the case at his rallies across the state; I will be blockwalking with the team on the 29th.
My 300 postcards (to my precinct )are ready to go to the Post Office. These are going to our strong Dems and seldom voting Dems. Our county party is running Zoom phone banks every day. More voter contact has been going on than I can remember and I have lived here since 1989.
I think the Republicans here are running a bit scared; their ads are full board scare tactics. I hope their fear is justified.
