(9,078 posts)Literally doesn't mean anything.
Having watched the debate, I don't think it really changed anything about the race. If you already hated DeSantis, you would continue hating him. If you already weren't impressed with Crist, he did nothing impressive.
Kind of a wash.
Still annoyed with Crist for so pointedly dodging LGBT related questions.
However, not my circus, not my monkeys. Good luck, Florida.

(9,078 posts)If DeSantis were to go down, it would be the story of the midterm, I think.

(7,869 posts)I just read threads that interest me and, lo and behold, I see you in there trying to depress Democrats. Never see you doing that in the threads about how Republicans are winning in the polls, just in the ones that are positive towards Democrats. Strange...

(9,078 posts)(I have a reply in a Fetterman thread yesterday saying I think hes up 4-5 points. That selective thing again).
And to reiterate, no ones getting depressed from anything said here. Most of the people here have already voted. I could affect more votes yelling at strangers at Safeway.

(7,869 posts)As I asked you before, why is it? Sadistic hobby? Or.......
And from the hack on Election Day of 2016 -- you weren't around back then... or were you, hmm... -- and the various trolls we get in here all the time, it seems as though those wanting to do damage to Democrats have a greater opinion of the influence of this website than you do. Until then, I'll take their concerted efforts to depress the Democratic votes here as a sign that, yes, we certainly do matter, even though you and your thousands and thousands of posts here -- once again, sadistic hobby? Or... -- would like us to believe otherwise.

(102,303 posts)I only wish, though that such a debate performance would matter. But, Flloriduh.

(21,581 posts)That truly is a solid red state now. Especially with the suppression laws in effect. Almost impossible for a Dem to win.

(9,116 posts)...but elections are often determined by disengaged, poorly-informed, irregular voters. That is, the kind of people unlikely to have watched the debate.

(82,849 posts)I saw a clip of DeSantis pondering Crist's question as to whether he would serve a full four year term. He looked like the malfunctioning gunfighter played by Yul Brynner in the original Westworld movie.
