Bash away. It's hip at the forum for the open-minded and for those who are far more superior than others.

I lived through Colorado's far right turns and I did not attempt to ignore or whitewash it nor whine with hurt feelings about the nasty hit to our national reputation. I worked to change it, especially after the murders at an abortion clinic in CO Springs, the rise of white nationalist groups in areas of the western slope and NOCO along WY border, the attempts to define fetal personhood rights to end abortion, and that horrendous 1992 Amendment 2 against LGBTQ I actually work NOW FOR CHANGE IN TEXAS, having aided with $$ and phone networking on behalf of Dem campaigns in the last four elections. I have time scheduled today, in fact on behalf of BETO. So, complain or work as I DID and DO to change things. Or just complain and be miserable. Truth hurts but it also motivates for change. Think about it.

And no one is arguing for the far right. We’re just stating to store your hatred away, and realize we have a far right problem everywhere.

& WE fought back and yet you say THAT? Apparently you did not bother to read past the subject line. Forget it. You seem to let yourself feel the victim of big bad DUers who point out Texas' issues yet are apparently willing to do nothing more than lash out. ???

It certainly appears that I do more to change things in Texas than you appear willing to do. Today, alone I spent nearly three hours making canvassing calls on behalf of Beto. I will not enable you to feel sorry for yourself. DO SOMETHING. Like the rest of us are trying to do. Texas does not have to stay the way it has been any more than Colorado and other formerly stark red states have.

that are bashable. They're not alone, though. Plenty of company with Florida.

But I do feel for the sane people in both states.

so I encounter both MAGAs and Dems when dealing with strangers in public places. The MAGAs are as bold and loud here as anywhere. The area around my small city is very red and rural. So I am sympathetic to sane people stick in the middle of MAGAs.

Charlottesville. Casting stones in glass houses, and all that. Nice hypocrisy, but Texas bashing is perfectly acceptable here at the forum for open-minded people.
