Political text messages - from the other party

Hi all,

Has anyone started receiving texts from the Republican party? I've heard from DeSantis' wife, Tim Scott, someone who wants to remove Nancy Pelosi, Mike Pompeo, and Marco Rubio.

I really want to write back with them and say something along the lines of "eat shit and f/o" but I just report them as junk and delete.

But, really, from the other party? How did my number get to them?

I do not get political messages in my texts (I use a company provided phone but I've had the same number for 13 years).
I do not get political emails. I have avoided all that for years intentionally.
So I was quite surprised to get this piece of trash in a text.

It is apparently a well-funded slick campaign to support republicans in the midterms but you have to follow the link to see what they are really shoveling. It made me want to puke.

So I let Mr. Slick know my true desires for him:

"Go screw yourself"

And then I blocked the number.

3. "DeSantis' wife, Tim Scott" - didn't know his wife called Tim, but removing Pelosi fits the profile

But, but, ... is De Santis homosexual and married to a man?
