(33,643 posts)Pretty sure we all approve of 'choice' around here, even if the person paying for it is publicly hypocritical on the subject.

(33,643 posts)Just because they provided 1/2 of the genetic material that resulted in conception, they still morally have 0 say/rights on the subject of whether the embryo is carried to birth.
Obviously.
I mean, why would they have any?
It's not like it'd be 'there's' in any legally binding way. They probably would never even notice they fathered a child, nor could there ever be 'child support'.
So yeah.
Nunya.
on another topic, I have on MSNBC Chris Jansing and they just covered it.
Hershel says he is "through with this foolishness."
It appears Hershel's preferred means of birth control is abortion.
He obviously doesn't mind paying $700 per incident. I don't know what the cost of a birth control pill is, but I'm pretty sure it's south of $700.

(33,643 posts)lobbying an XX person to NOT proceed with a pregnancy resulting in a living infant that they conceived together.
That was the subject of the post I responded to which suggested ... they should not do that, either, that it's 100% the woman's choice to abort or carry, and he should say nothing i.e. never 'pressure' her.
I disagree with the inherent premise.
He shouldn't be able to force her to have it. That's a no brainer.
'Pressuring' her to NOT have it ... I think is within his rights, within reasonable bounds.
