2. Too true. The last couple of political go-rounds I unsubscribed from dozens of email lists...

When they bothered to ask me why, I would just unload on them about this tactic. It’s dishonest and it is stupid. I even wrote to my Congresswoman about it on her constituent comment line — I told her I had no way of knowing whose brilliant idea this tactic was, but that it was a gigantic turnoff.
