IMPEACH Joe Biden on what?

An interesting question Alex Wagner just asked her guest in the last segment.

Republicans are looking for reasons to impeach Joe Biden. The obvious reason? Joe is a Democrat and Republicans want REVENGE for the 2 impeachments of TDFG(which were merited and had solid evidence for each one.)

They think "RINOs" who won't support Trumpism should have something medieval happen to them too. It's like those little kids who scream at the parents to drop dead in the store because they won't buy sugar smacks and candy.

Honestly I think it is more of wanting to destroy anyone who gets between them and their crazy idea of the millisecond.

actual legal proceeding. The good news is, just like Clinton and Trump before him, it is almost impossible to get enough Senators to actually convict so the President will not actually be removed from office.

I do think they will impeach President Biden at least twice, but probably 3 times just to be able to say he was the most impeached President in history .....

She called to talk to my wife and my wife was in town and she left her phone. The old aunt knows I'm a democrat and likes to play the game of pissing off the lib. I warned her not to go there, but she insisted. I told her after 4 years of Trump you have the gall to judge Biden, boy is that rich. I then went off on how she never said anything bad about the Traitor Trump declaring war against democracy but you are concerned about Biden's gaffs. She said if Trump did something wrong they would have arrested him. I said if you watch your Fox news channel they tell you the democrats are weak on enforcing crime. She got so mad she hung up on me. 😂

It's all power plays and performance art, so it's not as if they need an actual thing to hang it on.

And that they need to appease the base (and Trump) at all costs. And some of them want to go after multiple targets. McCarthy just wants to “Benghazi” Biden in advance of the 2024 election.

I don't know why it's not common knowledge here, but Republicans have explicitly stated they intend to impeach Biden over the withdrawal from Afghanistan. This is no secret, they've been saying it since it happened. They're going to say he ignored expert advice and that will be true, Biden is a smart and experienced leader, he gathers expert advice from all sides and by definition ignores some of it by listening to other experts.

Republicans have been cuing up a potential impeachment of President Biden if they take back control of Congress in the midterm elections.

Now they just need to figure out what they might actually impeach him for.

Back in January, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Tex.) mused about impeachment on his podcast. He suggested it had become more likely because Democrats had “weaponized” impeachment against Donald Trump. “What’s good for the goose is good for the gander,” he said.

A smattering of other issues has also been mentioned — the chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan last summer perhaps most prominent among them. Shortly after the Jan. 6 insurrection, former Trump White House adviser Stephen K. Bannon suggested that Biden be impeached for “his illegitimate activities of stealing the presidency.” (There is zero evidence for this.)

https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2022/09/26/anemic-gop-drive-impeach-biden-may-get-stronger/

While some Republicans have thrown out vague reasons like “the border” and “Hunter Biden” to support impeaching the president, for the most part, their plan appears to be: “Impeach first, ask questions—like, ‘do we actually have a valid reason for this?’—later.”

In January, Ted Cruz said on his podcast that Republicans would impeach Biden “whether it’s justified or not,” adding: “That’s not how impeachment is meant to work, but I think the Democrats crossed that line.

https://www.vanityfair.com/news/2022/09/republicans-vow-to-impeach-biden

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) introduced articles of impeachment against Biden the day after his inauguration, accusing him of abuse of power in relation to the business dealings of his son, Hunter Biden, in Ukraine.

https://thehill.com/homenews/house/3660477-mace-says-there-is-pressure-on-the-republicans-to-impeach-biden-if-they-win-house/

It's the f'n Freedom Caucus gang. They will impeach for something, just because they can. Articles of impeachment are one thing, but they won't have the votes to convict. So, if they gain control, rather than focus on fixing the problems of the country they falsely blame on Biden, they'll spend two years making congressional theater to distract attention from their silly, non-productive agenda and gross incompetence at running the country. Which is all they ever do anyhow.
