Apparently, he's singlehandedly tanking META. The stock lost a bundle in after-hours trading once the financials were posted, showing revenue losses. Facebook is already dead, imo.

Facebook parent @Meta reported third-quarter revenue of just $285 million in its Metaverse division, well short of analyst estimates of $406 million and down from $452 million in the second quarter.

Specifically, Mark Zuckerberg is all in on the Metaverse because Bezos has such a death grip on the real-world economy that Zuck’s only option to compete is to create a virtual world with a brand new economy HE can control

Finally, cold hard proof for the theory I've been flogging since the Meta rebrand: the metaverse is *entirely* a knowing scam intended to distract the masses from their inability to own anything in the real world because billionaires have it all.
