Well that was an early morning wake up call!

Just before 7 am this morning my cell phone rings. I don’t recognize the number, but it might be a call from an agent for help with my mother which I am looking for a caregiver. It wasn’t! It was the Nebraska Republican Party wanting to get info on who I was voting for? I told the man that I was voting against their candidate. He asked why? I told him that Don Beacon had some issues that didn’t help my own concerns. He kinda laughed. I said “what so funny?”. He continued laughing and replied that I was making a mistake! The call only lasted a couple more minutes. I said back “it sounds like you have a real problem and you shouldn’t be a good person for this job” and before I could finish he huge on me! It goes to show that the GOBers don’t like it when they don’t get their way! I did try calling back that number and it was a blocked phone number!

3. I left my blood center phone at a car dealership where we had a blood drive one day.

I knew that's where I had to have lost it but had to leave early for a drive the next day and couldn't go get it until after I got back. I called it a bunch of times and wondered if it might have been low on battery and dead because no one answered. It had to right in their lobby too.

So, I get there and sure enough the girl at the front desk had it. I said I called and asked why no one answered? She gives me this look and says, I don't answer when I don't know who it is! LOL WTF? Yeah, me too sometimes, but when it MY phone! I was pissed but also trying not to laugh at her or piss her off somehow. I still can't believe that one.

6. When I get calls from repug pushers, they almost always exit the call.

I tell them the reasons I am not voting for their guy or the reason I am voting for the D and they usually end the call right then. Sometimes they will soldier on and ask a few more ?? I think the most I've gotten was 3 before they ended the call, lol. I figure I should use this time to tell them the truth, but they don't like it.
